I'm going to be out and about a lot from September to December. Here are the dates and venues. Everyone is very welcome to come along. 11th October East London Libraries Festival. Event with Barbara Ewing and Jane Sanderson. 12th October Writers in Peterborough event 7.30-9.30 Being held at the Great Northern Hotel - that's me on my own! Monday 17th October Kidderminster Library with Barbara Ewing and Jane Sanderson.... tickets are going swiftly for this one! 10.30 am - 2.30 pm Wednesday 19th October Off The Shelf Literary Festival Sheffield Woodseats Library and Stannington Library.... Events in November 2nd November: Event at Nottingham Library with Barbara Ewing and Jane Sanderson 18th November - Institute of Historical Research seminar discussing history and historical fiction. Panel talk with historians, novelists and publishing industry professionals.Open to all.... Events in December 2nd December Coles Bookshop Bicester
 

02/08/2011: WILLIAM MARSHAL TRAVEL TOUR QUESTIONNAIRE

Academic Travel Abroad who recently organised a tour concerned with Eleanor of Aquitaine with author Sharon Kay Penman as a guest traveller and 'author on board' are now looking to do the same with William Marshal. To get things going, they have posted a simple questionnaire re preferences here. If anyone is interested, it would be great if you could fill it in. I think it's very exciting. 06/03/2011: Oakham Castle - Thank you!

Hi all, Thanks to everyone who came to Oakham Castle last night for World Book Night. especially Michelle and Sandy who drove from Preston. Wonderful to meet fellow Lancashire lassies! :-) It was a wonderful setting and I really enjoyed myself. Hope everyone did. Best, Elizabeth.

I am absolutely delighted to announce that TO DEFY A KING has been nominated for the Best Romantic Novel of the Year and the Best Historical novel of the Year in the RNA Awards. The full shortlist can be found at the RNA website.

I have just heard back from my editor on Lady of the English. She absolutely LOVES it (her capitals) and there are no rewrites - so I can take a short break for Christmas. I'll have the cover up on the website and more information about the novel in the New Year.

I have just received early copies of my reprinted novel THE LEOPARD UNLEASHED. It comes out early December and I'm so pleased to have it join THE WILD HUNT and THE RUNNING VIXEN so that all 3 parts of the Ravenstow story are now available.

My editor has just e-mailed me with the fantastic news that TO DEFY A KING is in The Sunday Times hardcover bestseller charts after just 3 days of publication, making a debut at number 28. Yippee!
